2002年,在上级交通主管部门的指导下,在深圳市委、市政府的正确领导下,深圳港口业全体人员同心协力,努力克服世界经济衰退以及9.11恐怖事件、美国西部港口罢工工潮等方面对港口运输的不利影响,积极实施“以港强市”的发展战略,港口运输继续保持高速增长的势头,全年完成货物吞吐量8765.9万吨,增长32.2%,其中集装箱吞吐量761.4万标准箱,增长50.0%。共有31家世界著名集装箱船公司在深圳港开辟近远洋国际集装箱班轮航线83条。全年新增国际集装箱班轮航线14条,平均每月靠泊班轮超过350艘次。无论是国际航线数量、航班密度,还是港口吞吐量的增长幅度,深圳港在国内均名列前茅。一个以深圳港为枢纽,覆盖世界十二大航区各主要港口的国际班轮网络体系已初步形成。深圳港在全球集装箱港口排名已由第八位上升为第六位。深圳港集装箱运输的高速发展,标志着深圳港作为华南地区集装箱枢纽港的地位更加巩固,在世
In 2002, under the guidance of the superior traffic department and under the correct leadership of the Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee and the municipal government, all personnel of the port industry in Shenzhen worked together to overcome the global economic downturn and the terrorist attacks of September 11 and the strikes of the western United States port. As a result, the port transport industry continued to maintain its momentum of rapid growth. Throughout the year, cargo throughput reached 87.659 million tons, up 32.2%, of which container container throughput was 7.614 million TEUs, an increase of 50.0%.
