HPM(数学史与数学教育)研究的一个重要思路,就是通过数学史的研究,为数学教育提供历史的启发和帮助.尽管HPM的实践已有广泛开展,但对于很多数学教师来说,如何研究数学史,尤其是如何通过数学史的研究,获得数学学习的有益路径和有效指导,还缺乏明确的、自觉的方法,很大程度上影响了数学史在教学上的应用.本文介绍的历史发生法,是HPM研究中的重要方法,能给热心HPM的教师提供方法上的帮助.
