阿多诺的美学思想在西方美学史上具有重要的地位,他站在对当代资本主义工业文明进行彻底批判的立场上,把现代艺术作为美学研究的核心课题,着重研究了现代艺术的本质特征及其批判与救赎功能,他认为艺术的本质在于对现实世界的否定,具有批判现实和拯救人性的功能,而这一切的支撑点则在于艺术的自律性。阿多诺的审美现代性思想以审美自律性的获得为前提,在与启蒙现代性的对抗中,它以对感性的伸张来拯救异化的人性,以流动变化的瞬间性来打破工具理性的僵滞,以深刻的批判性超越异化现实。
Adorno’s aesthetics thought plays an important role in the history of Western aesthetics.
