Objective: To detect the expression of CD40, CD40L and OX40 in acute myeloid leukemia cells and to explore its clinical significance. Methods: The expression of CD40, CD40L and OX40 on the surface of bone marrow mononuclear cells in 46 untreated patients with newly diagnosed acute myeloid leukemia was detected by flow cytometry. The cells were divided into four groups: the group of patients expressing only CD40 (group ①) CD40 + CD40L + OX40- (② group), all three antigen expression group (③ group) and all non-expression group (④ group). Using SPSS statistical software analysis. Results: In patients with high white blood cell manifestations, the incidence of group ② was the highest (100%); in patients with thrombocytopenia, group 1 had the highest incidence (100%); in patients with splenomegaly , ④ the lowest incidence of group (6.7%). CONCLUSIONS: Single expression of CD40 may exacerbate the reduction of platelets in patients with leukemia, and reduce the incidence of platelet hypothyroidism when CD40L expression is combined. CD40 expression can increase the likelihood of patients with splenomegaly.
