教育心理学和语言心理学研究的研究表明:12岁是人类学习语言尤其是母语的临界点,过来这个阶段,基本就不可能再形成“第二母语”了。在7——12岁阶段,孩子对语言的塑造性非常强,这个阶段也是学习外语的重要阶段,小学生基本上都是处于这个年龄阶层,因此小学的英语学习对于孩子掌握外语有着非常重要的影响。但是目前国内小学英语的学习处于一种对单词读音不准,形近或音近的单词混淆,机械式记忆,不能灵活运用,听说困难不能学以致用的现象。作为教师应当敏锐的察觉这一问题,不能浪费学生学习外语的黄金时代。所以对小学英语的课堂教学做好策划是非常有必要的。
The research on educational psychology and linguistic psychology shows that 12-year-old is the critical point for human to learn the language, especially the native language. It is impossible for this age to form “second mother tongue” again. At the ages of 7 - 12, children are very creative in their language. This stage is also an important stage in learning foreign languages. Primary school children are basically in this age group. Therefore, primary school English learning plays a very important role in children’s mastery of foreign languages . However, at present, primary English learning in China is confused with words that are not allowed to be pronounced or in the vicinity of a word, mechanical memory, flexible use of words, and difficult to learn by reason of difficulty. As teachers should be acutely aware of this issue, students can not waste the golden age of learning foreign languages. Therefore, the planning of primary English classroom teaching is very necessary.
