Coal forging furnace is a common heating furnace in China’s machinery factory. According to China’s energy policy, coal will be the main energy source for forging and heating in the next few years. However, the technical level of heat utilization is very low. Few studies have been conducted on the thermal balance of forging furnaces. Therefore, the utilization of heat energy and the direction of energy saving are often not crucial. Thermal balance test of equipment is a new discipline developed with people’s deep understanding of energy.
