1 Like other thinkers and poets, William Black is greatly concerned with humans and with the universe in which he lives. Eun Hsuan’s story and the tragedy that occurred in Eden are well known. Adam and Eve, the ancestors of mankind, were expelled from paradise for stealing the forbidden fruit, so that people would die from illness and death. Since then, women have suffered the pain of having children, and men have to work life-long until they fall into the dust. According to the Bible, the fall of mankind begins with Curiosity, a forbidden fruit, of Eve’s life, and the fall leads to atonement, thus beginning man’s search for God long distances. This is the root cause and necessity of human tragedies.
