汉口旧时会馆建筑,颇有特点。除历史悠久外,均用地宽敞,房间多,有的还有花园,甚至建有舞台。这类建筑物在当时社会上自有知名度,所以它的所在地就以它为街巷名称,例如安徽会馆的所在地,即名安徽街;福建会馆的所在地,即名福建街等等。会馆办有学校的,也以会馆名为校名,例如江苏会馆创办的小学,即名江苏小学;宁波会馆创办的小学,即名宁波小学等。会馆在巷子、里份内,购置一片房产,也以会馆名为巷、里名。现在,会馆随着历史的流逝而消失,而与会馆有渊源的街巷里份的旧名,仍在沿用。 Hankou old Hall building, quite characteristic.
