The ruthenium catalyst prepared from triruthenium ketenylidenecluster exhibited high catalytic activity in hydroformylation of ethylene and COhydrogenation,compared with the catalyst from[HRu_3(CO)_(11)]~-.The highactivity possibly resulted from the ketenyl group(CCO)that could be partlyconverted to carbide species. The ruthenium catalyst prepared from triruthenium ketenylidenecluster exhibited high catalytic activity in hydroformylation of ethylene and COhydrogenation, compared with the catalyst from [HRu_3 (CO) _ (11)] ~ ..The highactivity can be induced from the ketenyl group (CCO) that could be partlyconverted to carbide species.
