探究式学习也称探究性学习、研究性学习,是在学科的学习中选择和确立主题,在教学中创设类似于学术研究的教学方式,让学生通过独立自主地发现问题、解决问题,获得知识,培养学习能力,特别是发展探索精神与创新能力,倡导学生的主动参与到研究学习中。探究式学习是一种积极的学习过程,让学生在学科学习中自己探索。在传统的高中英语阅读教学中,学生完全是被动地接受知识缺乏主动性,这样阻碍了学生对英语阅读的学习兴趣,减少了学生进行探究式学习的机会,让学生缺乏创新意识,阻碍了对学生英语阅读能力的培养。探究式学习是一种较为新颖的高中英语阅读教学方式。
