基于后殖民翻译理论,对印第安族裔作家谢尔曼·阿莱克西长篇小说《一个兼职印第安少年的超真实日记》进行了翻译。在这部小说中,白人文化的翻译试图把印第安文化变为附属文化,另一方面,作品主人公也进行了积极而有意义的反抗,使得印第安文化也能从主流语言中进行翻译,发出边缘文化的响应,从而构建了新时代的印第安人形象。本文通过分析美国印第安文学的崛起、殖民视域下的翻译理论、作品中殖民者与被殖民者翻译的解构探究,进而论述从印第安作品翻译中得到的启示以及对印第安作品翻译的思考。
Based on the theory of post-colonial translation, the author translates the Indian novelist Sherman Alexi’s novel “The Super-Real Diary of a Part-time Indian Teenager.” In this novel, the translation of white culture seeks to transform Indian culture into an adjunct culture. On the other hand, the protagonist of the work also conducts a positive and meaningful rebellion so that Indian culture can also translate from the mainstream language and send out an edge culture Response, thus building a new era of Indian image. By analyzing the rise of Indian literature in the United States, the translation theory in the colonial context, the deconstruction of the translator’s interpretation of the colonizers and the colonists in the works, this article further expounds the enlightenment obtained from the translation of Indian works and the reflection on the translation of Indian works.
