According to the website of Supervision Department of the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection， Shi Xiaoyu， former Vice Mayor of Fujian City is presently under investigation by Fujian Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection for suspected serious violation of discipline.
Shi Xiaoyu was born in Suzhou， Jiangsu in July1953. After graduated from Fujian College of Forestry （currently known as Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University）， Shi Xaioyu successively served as the assistant to the director of Fujian Provincial Construction Committee， Section Chief of Urban Construction Department， a member of CPC Committee at the Provincial Construction Administration and Vice Mayor of Putian City. In October 2006， he assumed the office of Deputy Mayor of Fuzhou City and stayed there till January 2012 when the administration session expired.
“He was put in charge of urban construction when serving as the Vice Mayor， and the years during his tenure of office happened to be the prime time of Fuzhou’s urban development.” says an informed source. Less than two months ago， the Commission for Discipline Inspection notified Fuzhou Municipal Administration with Shi Xaioyu’s suspected discipline violation.
It is said that although Shi Xiaoyu intended to keep a low profile in his position， he was alway suspected of being involved with illegal activities. According to local informant， he may have malpractices in a greening project of Fuzhou city.
