After the 1990s, the rate of cesarean section in China was as high as 40% -60% [1], which was significantly higher than 15% [2] advocated by the World Health Organization [2]. However, the cesarean section rate in foreign countries kept decreasing while that in Japan was 7% -8% 3]. This article investigates the status quo of cesarean section in Anyyang City district-level hospitals, analyzes the indications of cesarean section and discusses the influencing factors that may be associated with higher cesarean section rate, in order to reduce the cesarean section rate and ensure the safety of mother and infant. 1 Materials and Methods 1.1 Object 2
