疟原虫与其它生物一样,其生长发育依赖铁离子;因此铁离子螯合剂去铁草酰胺B具有抗疟作用,但该药半衰期短,渗透性低且成本高而得不到广泛应用。为证实另一种经细胞内水解后才结合铁的铁离于螯合剂前体药物右旋丙亚胺(dexrazoxane)是否有抗疟活性,作者观察右旋丙亚胺对体外培养的恶性疟原虫红内期和鼠约氏疟原虫红外期的影响。
Plasmodium, like other organisms, is dependent on iron for its growth and development; therefore, iron chelator deferoxamine B has antimalarial activity, but its short half-life, low permeability and high cost are not widely used. In order to demonstrate whether there is anti-malarial activity of another dexrazoxane, an iron-binding agent that has been bound to iron by intracellular hydrolysis, we investigated the effects of dexrazoxane on Plasmodium falciparum INFLUENCE OF IRRADIATION ON THE PLASMODIUM RHIZOGENE AND PLASMODIUM YOUNG.
