在初中阶段,尤其是我们农村中学,很多学生在学习上非常害怕英语。究其根源是掌握的词汇量太少。因此,词汇在英语学习中的重要性是不容忽视的。学生花费了大量的时间去背单词,却依然没有很好的收获呢。这种时间和结果不成比例的背后实际上反映出了词汇教学中所存在的新问题。牛津英语教材初中阶段,没有词汇的学习显然是无法学好英语。这就需要老师在词汇教学中能根据《标准》的词汇教学目标做到有的放矢,运用最合适的教学方法教会学生的词汇。
In junior high school, especially in our rural middle schools, many students are very scared of learning English. The root cause is to master too little vocabulary. Therefore, the importance of vocabulary in English learning can not be ignored. Students spend a lot of time to recite words, but still not very good harvest it. Behind this disparity of time and result actually reflects the new problems in vocabulary teaching. Oxford English textbooks junior high school, no vocabulary learning is obviously unable to learn English well. This requires teachers in the vocabulary teaching in accordance with the “standard” vocabulary teaching objectives to be targeted, using the most appropriate teaching methods to teach students vocabulary.
