The emergence and rise of the creative industries spanned the sharp barriers between culture and industry in the past. In the Frankfurt school, “cultural industry” is a single cultural production suitable for mass consumption based on the standpoint of “criticizing and criticizing art independently” in classical ideas. The school holds a negative attitude toward the over-commercialization and technicalization of cultural industries . They think that “cultural industries” are large-scale reproduction and dissemination of commercialized rather than creative cultures by means of modern science and technology
