随着“卓越工程师教育培养计划”在理工科高校中实施,培养学生国际化的英语交流及应用能力就显得尤为重要。在理工科高校英语教学中应用情境教学法是提高英语教学质量的一种十分有效教学手段。本文简述了情景教学法的特点与作用,并根据理工科英语教学目标、教学内容等特点,对如何在英语教学过程中实施情景教学法及其注意事项等进行了分析。
With the “Excellent Engineer Education and Training Program” implemented in science and engineering colleges and universities, it is very important to cultivate students’ international English communication and application ability. Applying situational teaching method to English teaching in science and engineering universities is a very effective teaching method to improve the quality of English teaching. This paper briefly describes the characteristics and functions of situational teaching method, and analyzes how to implement situational teaching method and its precautions according to the teaching objectives and contents of English teaching in science and engineering.
