市售的自动抽水控制器种类繁多,可谓五花八门,形色各异。然而,常见的是利用探极间的电阻变化进行水位检测,再通过放大电路驱动继电器、接触器控制电机的运行状态来控制水位。实际使用时,常因探极间电阻值异常腐蚀导致失灵,或电网电压时高时低经常烧坏放大电路和变压器,导致整个控制系统失灵。修理费用高等缺点。且电路比较复杂。
