我场林区位于予东黄河故道,土壤质地多为细沙和粉沙,结构松散,非常贫瘠。经过建场20年的造林实践证明,杨树、柳树、榆树等树种大都生长不良,不能郁闭成林,而在同期和以后营造的洋槐林却能生长良好,早的已成材砍伐利用,一般林令7年以上的都能郁闭成林。现在我场刺槐林面积已达35000亩。今后还要继续营造洋槐林或以洋槐为主的槐、杨混交林。因此,加强对刺槐林的经营管理,促进林木速生丰产和优质已成为我场林业生产和科学研究的重要课 My field forest is located in the old course of the Yellow River, the soil texture mostly sand and silt, loose structure, very barren.
