Lottie gloomily as the emotional tone, with the cold as the basis for the environment, with evil as the psychological tone, describes the early twentieth century, the eight countries defeat Beijing when the invasion of Beijing’s image. Lottie’s pen, Beijing is a dusty, gloomy, cold, sinister cemetery-like city. The cold, the dark, and the dead are enveloped in this fragmented city that lasted for the rest of the post-war period. There are numerous corpses and ruins in the world. The once brilliant Forbidden City and the emperors ran down and the city was full of curious European winners. This is a true record of Beijing after the war, but it is also Loti’s collapse of Beijing’s imagination.
