In the past decade or more, countries have adopted a resolute energy-saving policy on energy consumption. Their main goal is to reduce oil consumption. The transport sector almost entirely depends on oil to operate directly. In the OECD countries, oil accounts for More than 95% of the total energy needs of the transportation sector. In the transportation sector, road transport uses the vast majority of oil, so the fuel economy in road transport has become a major area of transportation energy conservation. Since the “oil crisis” occurred in the international market in the 1970s, the 80th European Ministers of Transportation Ministers (ECMT, consisting of 23 countries including Europe, North America, Japan, and Australia) have explored energy conservation issues in transport.
