Every morning on the working day and in the evening, Beijing, with nearly 22 million permanent residents overlooking the sky, is in the midst of a spectacular, citywide crowd flow. One of the salient features of this kind of flow is “crowded ”. This is both the vitality of the city, but also the city’s troubles. In China, there are currently about 50 cities facing varying degrees of congestion. The bigger the city, the more serious congestion and the problems of environmental pollution are also coming one after another. Although the tactics adopted vary from place to place, the implementation of the bus-first development strategy is the ultimate prescription for many cities.
