Heather Müller is a Romanian German woman writer who won the 2009 Nobel Prize in Literature for her “poetic conciseness and essay straightforwardness, depicting the predicament of life for those who have no choice but to rely on nothing.” This article explores the unique creative process of Geta Mueller from two aspects of his political theme and cross-cultural creation. Heta Müller personally experienced different social and political systems and witnessed the conflicts and integration of different cultural backgrounds between East and West. Her mixed identity in crossed cultures offers her a unique perspective on her writing. With sharp writing style and heavy story content, she paints pictures of the dictatorship during the dictatorship period, criticizes the then centralized politics and gives her distinctive political theme.
