为了促进实践经验和科学技术在国际上广泛交流,应鼓励岩土工程师采用国际标准单位制,即SI单位制。国际单位制缩写为SI,是从所有工程师都热知的米制发展来的。SI单位制在1960年首次采用。其推广和实施工作是由国际标准化组织(ISO)和该组织的成员美国国家标准学会(ANSI)负责,他们并负有使符号,定义,术语和方法等标准化的任务。 SI制单位的定义——SI单位制与惯用单位相比优点在于:对一个指定的物理量只用一种度量单位。长度(L)用米,质量(M)用千克,时间(T)用秒。从这些基本单位可以推导出所有其它的力学量。
In order to promote the extensive exchange of practical experience and science and technology in the international arena, geotechnical engineers should be encouraged to adopt the International Standard Unit System (SI) system. The International System of Units, abbreviated as SI, is developed from the metric system that all engineers know well. The SI unit system was first adopted in 1960. Its promotion and implementation work is carried out by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and members of the organization, the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), and they have the task of standardizing symbols, definitions, terms and methods. Definition of SI units: The advantage of SI units over conventional units is that only one unit of measure is used for a given physical quantity. The length (L) is in meters, the mass (M) in kilograms, and the time (T) in seconds. All other mechanical quantities can be derived from these basic units.
