Approved by the State Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision, the following technical standards for radio and television have been released or have been submitted for approval: (1) “Standard for Code and Modulation of Satellite Digital Television Broadcasting Channels”; (2) “Code and Modulation Specifications for Channel Coding of Cable Digital Television Broadcasting”; ( 3) “Cable Television Frequency Configuration”; (4) “Information Technology - Generic Coding of Moving Pictures and Their Associated Audio Part 2: Video”;
