On September 18th， the relevant departments of Chinese government concerned jointly release of the list the national cultural exports key enterprises and key projects. 485 enterprises like China International Book Trading Corporation were in the key enterprises list， and 108 projects like Beijing International Book Fair were in the key projects list.
In the key enterprises list， nearly 25% enterprises were directly engaged in Press and Publication； in the key projects list， the proportion of Press and Publication projects was even rigger， which was nearly 40%. Among them， selected news and media enterprises， including almost all of the news and media groups， such as China International Book Trading Corporation， China Science Publishing and Media Group， involve 36 monomer presses like Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press and some private enterprises like Beijing Chinese Book Trading Corporation. At the same time， two subitems of Chinese publications of international marketing and channel expansion project； and the likes of the key publications overseas copyright transfer such as foreign language edition series of Cultural China； key exhibition projects like Beijing International Book Fair and investment projects like the American Branch of People's Health and Hygiene Press， all above projects were selected ones.
Director Zhang Fuhai， Director of the Department of Foreign Communication and Cooperation under the General Administration of Press and Publication， told reporters that the increasing proportion of Press and Publication industual enterprises and projects concerned not only fully demonstrated the great attention our country paid to the overseas copyright transfer， but also reflected the great attention the Press and Publication enterprises paid to the works of overseas cultural copyright transfer. He said， “The General Administration of Press and Publication strongly supports the Press and Publication enterprises to intensify the overseas copyright transfer in different ways”. Jasks for realization of our goals mentioned in the two lists have been incorporated in the 12th five-year plan regarding copyright transfer. Other Opinions on Accelerating the Overseas Copyright transfer of Our Country’s Press and Publication Industry， is going to be issued this year.
