对甘肃省陇南市农村小学英语教师的基本素质进行抽样调查分析后发现,教师的语言知识素质、语言教学素质、语言文化素质和教学研究素质方面存在不同程度的问题,严重影响小学英语教学质量的大面积提高。因此,为了促进小学英语教师素质的提升、提高培训质量和小学英语教学质量,小学英语教师需转变培训观念,重视自身的专业发展,实现人生价值;教育管理部门需创新工作思路;高校应创新教师培训理念、模式和内容。
