There are generally two buzzwords in Buyi: ts- and tc-, the two buzzings are complementary, tc- appears before the front high vowel, and ts- appears before the non-front high vowel . The buzzwords in the Bouyei language are retrospective. There are three sources: one is that the pronunciation of the tongue fricatives from the original Taiwanese period is intensified into a raspberry sound, and the earliest such affrications in the Bouyei language are; A class of complex consonants from the original Taiwanese period weakens the second consonant into a palatalized accent, inducing the initial consonant k-together to become a rasp; a class of Chinese borrowings from the Chinese group of thin-syllable words. In addition to the evolution of the phonological system itself, the influence of Chinese loanwords is also a factor that can not be ignored.
