故事作为相对完整、独立、生动的语境,它既承载了地道的词句表达,还渗透着关于善良、友谊、勇敢的人性之美。把故事引入小学英语课堂,让学生在真实具体的故事语境中分析、判断、推理、联想、感知、运用、内化,将极大促进学生的表达能力、思辨能力、创造能力等思维品质的发展。本文仅以三年级英语拓展阅读小故事Tadpoles Mummy中的几个教学活动为例,提出依托英语故事教学,培养学生思维品质的具体做法及思考:以问、猜、画为引子,引出故事主角;听、读、寻为主线,理解故事内容;演、改、创为手段,运用故事语言。
