“高考”作为“高等学校招生考试”的简称,从上世纪50年代中期到“文革”前已经约定俗成地陆续出现在各种官方刊物和报纸上。“高考”作为一个在各种社会思想交互反馈中生成的抽象话语符号,难以同步对照中共指导高校招生考试的思想变化,但却是标志着招考制度变迁中存在连贯统一性的话语符号。“文革”伊始,在官方媒体与民众舆论的双向建构中,“高考”转变成一个非法的政治概念,这标志着招考制度的中断;“文革”结束,“高考”恢复,沿袭“文革”前话语体例的舆论表达,又将“高考”定性为合法的政治概念。如此“翻来覆去”的定性恰说明,“高考”并非专属于某种特定政治价值的制度架构。“高考”在“文革”后的舆论中以其制度实效诠释“去政治化”观念,它也随之成为最早引导公众摆脱泛政治化思维的制度概念。

In the public opinion after the ”Cultural Revolution“, ”college entrance examination“ interprets the concept of ”de-politicization" with its institutional effectiveness and becomes the earliest institutional concept that leads the public out of pan-politicized thinking.
