为研究三水转化规律,提高水文和水文地质参数的计算精度,由徐州市水文分站负责组建汉王水文水资源试验站。1985年3月破土动工兴建第一期工程,主要项目为作物有效潜水蒸发试验,1986年春投产观测。第二期工程系国家重点科技攻关项目《华北地区水资源评价和合理开发利用研究》01课题的主要试验场地,1987年4月建成,重点研究大面积测筒均质土壤不同埋深条件下的三水转化机理过程,订正推广小面积测筒资料。该站并研究零通量面的发生、运移和消失的变化规律,检验零通量面法的可靠性和适用性。另外还接受市水利局委托,开展小流域水土保持试验研究工作。
