结束了鳄鱼湾的考察之后,杨健生教授一行又奔赴这个占地面积约3 626平方千米的野生动物乐园。这里自然条件相当复杂,由中央山区、低地林区和分散的海滨三部分构成。在同一时间,这里有春季、夏季和冬季三种气候。因此,人们称这个公园为“一个公园三个世界”。在林娜小姐的陪同下,考察团一行三人都穿上了伪装服来到海湾。这里一片宁静。碧蓝的海水波平如镜。一只苍鹭静立在海湾边,凝视着海水,随时准备猛扑下去,噙住水中的游鱼。沼泽中,一群灰鹤低头觅食。一对大灰鹤突然展开双翅,跳了起来。接着,其他的鹤也成双成对,互相点头鞠躬,用翅膀拍击身子,开始翩翩起舞。摄影师庄伟突然看到有只灰鹤一瘸一跛地走到跳舞圈外歇息,他忙问:“那只鹤怎么了?”
