The levels of IgG, IgA, IgM and IgE in sera of 50 university students with hookworm infection were measured by immunodominant diffusion assay and ABC-ELISA. The differences in infection rates and differences between men and women were compared. The results showed that the hookworm infection serum IgA, IgM and control group close, while IgG and IgE was significantly higher than the control group. Moderate and severe infections increased more than mild infections, suggesting that parasites load and antibody levels have a certain correlation. Infected with higher mean IgE may also be the host of other unknown mixed antigens on the reaction.
