诞生于改革大潮时代的我国有线电视,经历了一个自我发展、自我普及的过程,有线电视的兴起与发展给目前占全球家庭电视机总量约30％的中国电视用户带来了新的生机与希望。预计到本世纪末,我国有线电视用户将达到7000万户-8000万户,届时,城市有线电视网的入户网将从目前的50％-60％提高到60％-70％。 上海作为国际著名的大都市,信息化建设日趋紧迫。上海信息港宽带网络工程项目由具有高速、宽带、大容量、多媒体信息传输和交换能力的主干网(简称平台)和具有多种接入方式(电信ADSL、有线HFC接入、无线接入及局域网接入等)的宽带接入网构成,成为上海城市的重要信息设施基础。
