新疆高校大学英语的整体水平与内地高校相比存在一定的差距,词汇石化是产生这一差距的原因之一,它广泛地存在于大学英语学习之中。认知语言学中的原型范畴理论为消除词汇石化提供了理论支撑,从而可以提高学生英语学习效果和新疆大学英语的整体水平。
There is a certain gap between the overall level of college English in Xinjiang colleges and universities in China and the universities in the Mainland. Vocabulary chemistry is one of the reasons for this gap. It exists widely in college English learning. The theory of archetypes in cognitive linguistics provides theoretical support for the elimination of lexical petrification, which can improve students’ English learning and the overall level of college English in Xinjiang.
