Far from the Qin and Han dynasties, the Haidong Korean Peninsula is greatly influenced by the Chinese Confucian culture. After the introduction of Zhu Xixue into North Korea at the end of the Koryo Dynasty, the Confucianism in North Korea thrived and great Confucianism emerged with its own characteristics. As a legitimate orthodoxy of Lee’s dynasty, Zhu Xi studied for five or six hundred years, making North Korea a typical Confucian state. Confucianism, as the main body of traditional culture in the Korean Peninsula, deserves our attention and research, both from a historical point of view and from a realistic point of view. At the invitation of Seoul Institute of Refuge Creek Studies, I went to Korea in September last year to study in Confucianism and Tack River, what I saw and heard.
