爪哇甘美兰音乐是印度尼西亚音乐的重要代表,以其多变的音色层次、丰富的力度变化及即兴的表演方式而著称,是世界民族音乐的瑰宝。文章对拉斯——这一重要的爪哇音乐美学概念进行了深入探讨,明确了拉斯在爪哇甘美兰音乐中的核心地位,它是人们正确聆听爪哇音乐、理解印尼文化的重要途径,强调要从语言学与文化视角去认识甘美兰音乐之美,并在此基础上提出了对当代音乐美学研究的几点启示:一、多学科背景知识是当代音乐美学研究的基础;二、东、西方音乐分属不同的美学体系,要善于运用各自的音乐语言展开平等对话;三、研究者的文化身份在音乐美学中具有重要意义。
