为了保证行车安全,在各型客车上都要对轴箱温度进行监测。车辆运行时,轴箱温度超过一定值就标志着轴箱部件不良和有出故障的危险。在这种情况下,轴箱发热的监测系统就会发出声光信号,列车员则必须拉紧急制动阀停下列车。目前,客车上采用的是传感器带有易熔芯的轴温继电器监测系统。将传感器设置在每个轴箱的上部,通过传感器э的串联电路,继电器P通电(图1)。当轴箱发热及其上的易熔片熔化时,继电器电源电路断电,继电器断开,声光信号的电路接通,于是在列车员乘务室内就不断地响起铃зв和亮起红色信号灯Л。
