On April 16, 2003, the University of Hong Kong announced that it has completed the mapping of the atypical pneumonia virus genome and found that the virus is likely to come from animals. And from animals to people, as for what animals are from to be studied. April 21, 2003, the reporter interviewed Professor Wang Yingxiang of Kunming Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Professor Wang believes that atypical pneumonia is not a sudden occurrence. It is probable that there was a previous diagnosis but no diagnosis.
