This article analyzes the reasons for the wide range of large 95 series diesel engine oil consumption. From the theoretical analysis, the influence of the main factors such as the crankcase pressure, the gap between the valve and the valve guide, the ellipticity of the cylinder liner, the structure of the piston ring, the fit between the cylinder liner and the piston ring on the oil consumption rate of the diesel engine is briefly described.
