在20世纪20、30年代上海唯美-颓废文人的写作中,启蒙化的“世界主义”观念与诉诸于感官层面的都市“当下性”呈现出互补和对立关系。启蒙话语中的现代性要求把个人和时代、未来相关联。上海唯美文人激进夸张的风格与此社会意识对他们的刺激有关。然而,他们虽然接受历史大叙事的指引,却又不自觉地被城市霓虹的魅惑所吸引,在写作中出现了民族国家意识和通商口岸物质现实的交锋,使得他们虚化本土现代性的现实历史要求,促成了以民族现代化为核心的启蒙现代性向关注个人体验的“美学”现代性的转移。
In the writing of the esthetician-decadent literati in the 1920s and 1930s, the enlightened “cosmopolitanism” concept showed a complementary and antagonistic relationship with the city “present nature” appealed to the senses.
