《竞业旬报》问世后,随着每期的发行量日益增长,很快便由一份学生社团刊物转变成当时著名的进步刊物,并在全国有了五十多个代办点。《竞业旬报》作为一种非官方的报刊,他试图塑造出一种非官方的革命文化空间。在上述空间中既要有精英塑造出一种革命的氛围,又要得到民间社会、市民阶级的响应,这样革命空间范围才能进一步的扩大,才能将广大的市民阶层纳入进来。只有这样才能成功的塑造出一种非官方的革命文化空间,建立革命精英与普通大众的交流平台。
After the publication of Commemorate News, with the increasing circulation of each issue, it was soon transformed from a student magazine into a well-known progressive publication at that time and there were over 50 agencies nationwide. As an unofficial newspaper, Jingye Tenpao tried to create an unofficial revolutionary and cultural space. It is necessary for both the elites to create a revolutionary atmosphere and the response of civil society and the general public in these spaces so that the scope of the revolutionary space can be further expanded and the general public class can be brought in. Only in this way can we successfully create an unofficial revolutionary and cultural space and establish a platform for exchange between the revolutionary elites and the general public.
