Chen Jiulin was suspended. December 8, 2004: Chen Jiu-lin was arrested by Singapore police before being released on bail. August 19, 2005: CAOHC, the parent company of CATIC Fuel Oil, paid a civil fine of 8 million yuan to the Monetary Authority of Singapore for violating the rules governing insider trading in Singapore.
