在承接美国铁路牵引车轴承加工任务中,遇到长筒形外圈的车削问题,即外圈形位公差要求严、外径大、壁厚较薄、不好装夹且易变形。为此,设计了右图所示的具有互补涨紧力的夹具。 这种夹具既能在两头产生均匀的涨紧力,又能保证定位精度。夹具座板联接于车床法兰,夹具座板与涨芯相配,保证同轴度与垂直度要求。涨芯与涨套保证滑动配合。涨芯、涨套的外圆锥面与涨胎两头内锥孔相配,达到精度配合要求。涨胎两头的内锥孔与外径的同轴度要求很高,并在其周壁上钻铣开口长槽12条(每端6条且互相均匀错开位置)。
