The production of bamboo shoots is achieved through the renewal growth of bamboo whip and the differentiation of lateral buds. Bamboo rhizome length, age composition and number of strong buds have a great impact on the yield of bamboo shoots. Therefore, the study bamboo shoots with bamboo rhizome underground structure for the regeneration of the forest growth and increase the yield of bamboo shoots are of great significance. However, there is no report about the underground structure of bamboo forest for bamboo shoots.
