Authors at the “International Forum on Aesthetics and Cultural Ecology” held by China Intangible Cultural Heritage Research Center of Sun Yat-sen in 2010 and its “First Sino-US Intangible Cultural Heritage Forum 2011: Policy Comparison” held in 2011 twice During the international academic conference, he had several interviews with Mr. Robert Baron who attended the meeting in New York State, and after the conference communication. This article’s Q & A section is based on interviews with recordings and communications. The protection of traditional culture, use, always issued for the context of the moment. At the present stage of modern cultural transformation, China needs two sides of the mirror: a mirror of the history that tells the story of “warmth and oldness,” and the mirror of the “otherness” of the “left and right”. The New York State folk culture management experience provides us with the latter. New York State, with such pivotal cities and cities as New York City and a sparsely populated hinterland, forms a network of intricate cultures that contain diverse folk and cultural wonders. The complexity of New York State folklore conservation and management is vividly imagined. I hope to take this stone from other hills to provide useful reference to Chinese experts engaged in cultural heritage protection, research and management in the period of modernization.
