Water-cooled air compressors in the field of use, an additional water protection device to ensure that equipment in the case of anhydrous cooling can be automatically stopped to avoid water-cut cylinder accident. In the past, our coal infrastructure systems used traditional mechanical contact switches as the water protection for air compressors (see Figure 1). When the cooling water from the first and second cylinder water jacket flow into the overflow bucket, first enter one of the leaking bucket. The impact and weight of the water cause the funnel to move downwards, and its downward force forces the contacts A and B closed by the tension spring of the nylon rope tied on the funnel, preparing for the start of the air compressor. Water, the spring loses the tension and contraction, so that A, B point off, air compressor trip and be protected. The main disadvantage of this water protection is that as the service life increases, the force of the spring becomes smaller and smaller. When the water is interrupted, the spring loses its ability to contract
