Objective To investigate the value of three-dimensional CT angiography (3D-CTA) in the diagnosis of intracranial aneurysms. Methods Ninety-two patients with suspected intracranial aneurysms were examined by 3D-CTA. A variety of post-treatment techniques were used to observe the presence or absence of aneurysms and their size was measured. The results were compared with DSA and surgeries . Results A total of 163 aneurysms were found in the 3D-CTA. The anterior communicating artery (25.1%), the anterior cerebral artery (9.2%), the middle cerebral artery (18.4%), the intracranial internal carotid artery (14.7% Artery (24.5%), posterior cerebral artery (2.5%), basilar artery (4.3%) and vertebral artery (1.2%). The sensitivity and specificity of 3D-CTA for the diagnosis of intracranial aneurysms were 92% and 94.1%, respectively. Conclusion 3D-CTA is a noninvasive means of detecting intracranial aneurysms.
