讀了张觉人同志发表于江苏中医1963年3月号“談制炼升降丹药的經验介紹”一文,感到内容丰富,很有受益和启发。但是也发现一些問題,愿与作者商榷。誠如张氏所說“升降丹药各有师承和体会”,所以借此談談我个人的經验与体会,以交流心得,有不足之处,希同道予以指正。张氏在其文章之始,談到我国炼丹术的起源和演变,本应对升降丹的起源和发展均予以必要論述,以与后文相呼应。但文中所引証之文献无一是說明降丹的,而全是升丹的,据笔者所查該文献并未有白降丹的記載。而云:“这种化合物是具有腐蝕作用的一种丹药,类似现今所用的紅升丹和白降丹”,所以用《周礼》天官冢宰篇及郑玄氏的注文来兼述白降丹,是会給讀者
