随着我国进入社会主义现代化建设以来,我国社会整体经济得到显著发展,人们生活水平得到飞快提高,这样导致人们对于出行方便的要求更加强烈,人们开始加大对车辆的购买,导致城市交通的拥堵和事故的频繁出现,增加了交通管理上的难度。过去原有的交通管理系统已经不能应对现在大量的车辆治理,基于交通上稳定安全高效管理,3G移动通信智能化交通系统正逐渐被广泛使用。相比传统的技术而言,3G通信技术具有成本低廉、建设周期短、适应性好、扩展性好、设备维护上更容易实现等优点,将3G技术充分运用到交通路口信号点以及在图像传输、智能控制等方面,从而实现对城市交通整体的监督控制,有效预防处理交通事故,保障车辆的通顺运行。
